Meet Kristin Park, LMFT

With over a decade of experience as a licensed therapist, I am skilled at helping others heal beyond the internal obstacles keeping them feeling stuck and disconnected.

My approach is rooted in the belief that we all have the capacity for growth given the right support. Therapy can be life changing, and I work to create a therapeutic space where you can experience as much growth as possible in the time we share together.

Issues I Work With:

  • Anxiety and panic
  • ADHD in adults
  • Complex Trauma & PTSD
  • Childhood trauma
  • Dissociation
  • Abuse recovery
  • Codependency
  • Relationship issues
  • Depression
  • Grief/Loss
  • Navigating life or career transitions
  • Postpartum mental health
  • Peri/Menopausal mental health
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Perfectionism
  • People pleasing
  • Complicated family relationships
  • Life transitions
  • Work stress

My approach is holistic and depth-oriented, addressing immediate concerns while also exploring the underlying causes of what is keeping you stuck. Rather than use a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor my approach to the unique needs, identities, cultural background, and neurotype of my clients.

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Northern California, but have also lived on the East Coast, Midwest, and Southwest. I am a free spirit by nature, a deep thinker, a neurodivergent mother of two boys, and a fierce advocate for those without a voice. I feel most at peace outdoors, and love a spontaneous road trip or adventure. When I'm not in the office you might find me walking my dog, gardening, listening to true crime podcasts, or planning my next DIY project.

What To Expect From Me

I am not the kind of therapist that just sits there and nods as you share. My approach is genuine, down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, and compassionately curious. I want to make therapy a space where you feel comfortable and at ease, but you can also trust me to offer the honest feedback that encourages your growth.

I genuinely love what I do, and this shows up in my enthusiasm when you have that "Aha" moment or share a new experience of growth with me.

I believe that the foundation of successful therapy lies in a strong, trusting relationship with my clients. With this in mind, I focus on creating a safe environment where you are invited to freely be yourself without judgment. I show up authentically, and together we build a supportive connection that helps you navigate your journey with understanding and care.

Getting Started

Our first sessions will focus on gathering background information about you and the concerns that brought you to therapy. I will invite you to consider the short or long-terms goals you have for therapy which I use to guide next steps. As therapy continues, I help you lay out the puzzle pieces of your life to understand the bigger picture and identify what is missing.  Together we will explore patterns, identify the obstacles holding you back, and help you develop the skills to find stability, healing, and lasting growth.

If you think I might be the right fit for you or someone you know the best way to get started is to set up a free intro call to discuss how I can support your goals. Use the link below to request an appointment or fill out the form below to send me a message.
